What makes SOAK feel like SOAK.
At SOAK, we aren’t just performing services — we are creating an unmatched beauty experience. Every person on the team plays a role in bringing that to life.
How we show up.
These four qualities sit underneath the way we work, the way we treat each other and the way we want every guest to feel.
Atmospheric
Creating a space where staff want to work and clients want to return to.
Quality
Delivering exceptional treatments every time.
Community
Supporting each other and building a strong team culture.
Integrity
Being honest, respectful and accountable.
Three areas. One standard.
Make people feel looked after.
Every guest should feel welcomed, valued and confident in the service they receive.
Represent the brand.
We represent SOAK both inside and outside of the salon.
Support the room around you.
We support one another to create a positive and productive workplace.
Respect is non-negotiable.
At SOAK we celebrate individuality and the strengths each team member brings.
Disrespectful behaviour is not tolerated. This includes:
- Passive aggression
- Exclusion
- Bullying or harassment
- Discriminatory behaviour
- Gossip or negative talk
We expect every team member to contribute to a supportive and inclusive environment. We hold our clients to these same standards.
Same care. Every guest.
Acknowledge
Acknowledge every client immediately. Within 3 seconds is the SOAK rule.
Get clear
Be clear on expectations, check for concerns and guide where needed.
Stay present
Stay professional and create an enjoyable experience.
Notice the details
Prioritise how the client feels throughout. Small details matter.
Check the result
Check your work, confirm the client is happy and fix anything before they leave.
Calm. Confident. Friendly.
During your shift
- No swearing
- No chewing gum
- Avoid personal issues, political or controversial topics
- Maintain professional language and presentation
- Use your phone only for work-related matters such as content, Slack or Zenoti
- Do not promote or solicit personal services outside SOAK to SOAK guests
Confidentiality & Privacy
Client privacy is extremely important.
Team members must never:
- Share client information
- Discuss treatments outside the salon
- Post client content without consent
Values only matter when people can feel them.
Atmosphere, quality, community and integrity aren't just things we say. They should show up in the way the salon feels, the way clients are treated and the way the team works together.
